Construction Shelters

Container Shelters Built for US Construction Sites

Protect equipment, materials, and crews on any jobsite. Allshelter's container-mounted shelters install in days, need no foundation or permit, and move with your project. They’re also backed by a 10-year warranty.

Bad Weather Doesn't Care About Your Schedule. Your Shelter Should.

Every day that a jobsite is exposed costs money. Rain expands lumber, snow buries materials, UV degrades hoses and seals, and crews lose hours waiting for bad weather to clear. Leaving electrical components, fixtures, finishes, or critical-path equipment in the open isn’t a minor risk, it’s a line item on your project’s bottom line.

A permanent building isn’t the answer. Pouring footings, pulling permits, and waiting on inspections takes months you don’t have. Plus the building would stay on-site when your project moves on.

Allshelter’s construction shelters give US contractors a better option. Our pre-engineered fabric structures mount directly to standard 20 ft and 40 ft shipping containers — turning the Office, Storage, and Workshop connexes you’re already running into covered work space. No permanent structure, no added delays or cost.

In just a few days, two containers and an Allshelter kit become a fully weatherproof workshop, storage bay, or staging area.

When the project finishes, the shelter is easily dismantled and moves to the next site with you.

Why Contractors Choose Container Mounted Shelters

Deploy in Days, Not Months

Three to four crew with basic tools install a standard Allshelter shelter in 1–4 days. No foundation, no inspections, no curing time. Hunt Electric had two enclosed 40' × 40' shelters up and protecting materials in under a week.

No Permits Needed

Allshelter container shelters are classified as temporary, relocatable structures. So most US jurisdictions don't require the long permit process you'd need for a permanent building. (Always confirm with your local AHJ.)

No Concrete Foundation Required

Shipping containers are the foundation. Skip the excavation, the rebar, the inspections, and the foundation cure. A bolt-on connection attaches the structure to the containers, cutting labor time on site and making relocation simple down the road.

Engineered for Snow and Wind

Allshelter container shelters are engineered to IBC and ASCE 7-22 standards, with wind loads rated up to 219 mph and snow loads up to 77psf depending on size and configuration. Site specific engineering is available on request.

10-Year Warranty

We're the only manufacturer that backs the frame, fabric, and workmanship for ten full years. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certified. The same shelter you put on a jobsite today will still be working on your sites a decade from now.

Moves With Your Project

Finish one project, dismantle the shelter, then ship it to the next site. Allshelter construction shelters are designed to be built, dismantled, and re-built without losing structural integrity. In this way, a one-project expense becomes a multi-project asset.

Built for Every Job on Your Site

Materials & Finishes Storage

Keep electrical components, fixtures, drywall, lumber, insulation, and finishes dry, secure, and ready-to-use. Translucent fabric provides daylight inside without the cost of running temporary power for lighting.

Equipment & Tool Protection

Generators, compressors, welders, lifts, and small-tool inventory all degrade faster outside. A container shelter keeps your equipment under cover, reduces maintenance costs, and gives crews a single, secure spot to stage tools at shift start.

On-Site Workshop & Maintenance Bay

Create a sheltered, well-lit workshop or maintenance bay right on the jobsite. The container walls provide secure storage on the sides. The fabric span above gives crews room to work on equipment, run welding stations, or stage fabrication.

Lay-Down & Staging Area

Use your shelter as a lay-down area for prefab components, modular skids, and just-in-time deliveries. Container side walls prevent wind from scattering loose material and make daily inventory easier to track.

Crew Rooms, Lunch Structures & Safety Muster

Give your crew an indoor space for meals, breaks, toolbox talks, and pre-shift safety briefings. Heated and conditioned options keep crews productive in winter, and the structure can double as a designated muster point.

Paint, Blast & Weld Enclosures

Run paint, sandblasting, or welding operations under cover, with airflow and lighting adjusted for the specific work. Keeping the operation contained also reduces overspray, debris, and weather-related delays on time-sensitive finishing work.

Construction Shelter FAQs

In most US jurisdictions, container-mounted shelters are classified as temporary, relocatable structures and don’t require a full building permit. Always confirm with your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). We can provide engineered drawings and load data to support your application if one is required.

A standard 40′ × 40′ shelter installs in 1–4 days with a three to four person crew using basic tools. Larger custom configurations take longer, but every shelter ships as a compact, pre-engineered kit with clear instructions and no specialty equipment required.

Allshelter container shelters are engineered up to 219 mph wind and 77 psf snow load, with every project engineered to the IBC and ASCE 7-22 conditions specific to your site. We deliver state-stamped engineering when your jurisdiction requires it.

You don’t have to, but you’ll need them on-site. Most contractors either use containers they already own, source them locally, or order them through a third party at the same time as their shelter. We can help coordinate.
